Job Title: Communication Therapist for Children and Adolescents

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Communication Therapist for Children and Adolescents to join our team at Universal Speech Therapy, Inc. in Manchester New Hampshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders, incorporating cutting-edge research and best practices.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' needs and progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted strategies for growth.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with parents, administration, and staff to ensure effective care and support, building strong relationships based on mutual respect and trust.
  • Therapy Services: Provide screenings, evaluations, and speech language therapy services to students K-5, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • IEP Meetings and Goal Writing: Participate in and facilitate IEP meetings, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs that cater to students' diverse needs.
  • Billing and Record Keeping: Accurately bill Medicaid for services rendered and maintain detailed records of student progress, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Data Analysis and Progress Monitoring: Analyze data and maintain records regarding student progress, using findings to inform treatment decisions and drive positive outcomes.
  • Progress Notes and Reporting: Write detailed progress notes to document student growth and development, providing regular updates to parents and other stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certification: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience: Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of IEP writing and therapeutic interventions, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $60-$65 per hour, along with a bonus/commission structure that rewards hard work and dedication.
