Position Overview:

The IT Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the technological framework that empowers our employees. This position focuses on the management of the underlying systems that facilitate daily operations. The engineer will engage in projects aimed at designing and testing innovative systems to boost efficiency and security, along with upgrading server infrastructure and creating essential documentation for IT support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer production systems that users rely on, including Active Directory for user management, Exchange Online for email services, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Oversee the maintenance of both physical and virtual servers essential for business operations.
  • Apply networking principles to ensure effective communication across the corporate network.
  • Assist in strategic planning to migrate infrastructure from on-premises solutions to cloud-based environments, primarily utilizing Azure.
  • Utilize PowerShell for the management and configuration of Microsoft systems.
  • Conduct research on new software or technology tools as requested by IT management or users.
  • Collaborate in the development of policies, procedures, user documentation, installation guides, system design documents, and test plans.
  • Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS standards and address any issues identified during audits.
  • Support vulnerability management and contribute to information security processes related to infrastructure security and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and relevant Microsoft certifications are desirable, including:
  • Security Operations Analyst Associate
  • Identity and Access Administrator Associate
  • Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Information Protection and Compliance Administrator
  • Associate Messaging Administrator Associate
