Company Overview:
A comprehensive design and construction service provider specializing in the water industry, employing over 1,000 professionals across multiple regional offices, primarily focused on long-term frameworks within the water sector.
Role Overview:
As a key member of the Operations team, you will work closely with the design department to transform design outputs, oversee procurement processes, analyze tender bids, and manage supply chain design outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess technical specifications to ensure alignment with project technical and commercial standards.
- Oversee the supply chain throughout procurement, engineering, implementation, commissioning, and handover stages.
- Evaluate supplier timelines against the contractual schedule and inform the Project Manager of any modifications impacting project completion.
- Ensure the creation of monthly progress reports from the supply chain and facilitate necessary progress meetings.
- Supervise the development of quality assurance documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), check sheets, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) documents, and Operation & Maintenance manuals.
- Manage the contractual obligations of the supply chain, utilizing NEC3 software to notify of any potential Early Warnings (EWN), Compensation Events (CE), Change Instructions (CI), or scope alterations.
Required Experience:
- Several years of experience in a Senior or Project Engineer role.
- Relevant electrical engineering qualifications.
- Familiarity with various contract conditions, particularly IChemE and NEC.
- Experience in supply chain management.
- Understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and Health & Safety standards.
