  • Experience in creating and evaluating loan packages for financial institutions.
  • General knowledge and experience with tax returns.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and systems.
  • Experience in cost accounting and cost allocation.
  • Ability to assess financial metrics and benchmarks to evaluate the financial health of businesses.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant consulting or industry experience in financial analysis is preferred.

As part of the Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, the Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence has been supporting businesses throughout western Pennsylvania for over 25 years. The IEE is dedicated to providing a dynamic blend of consulting, education, and networking opportunities, aiming to be a pioneering force in regional economic development.

Job Summary

This position involves providing business consulting support to new and existing businesses in Western Pennsylvania. The consultant will develop strong relationships with local economic development agencies and lead business seminars and educational programs. Effective marketing strategies will be employed to enhance program outreach.

Essential Functions

Financial analysis, along with excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills, are crucial. Strong interpersonal relationship skills are also essential.

Physical Effort

This role is primarily sedentary but may require occasional travel to meet with clients.
