About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team at Cardinal Health. As a Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing of time-sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture radioactive isotopes, including synthesis setup, hot cell manipulations, and distribution
  • Conduct quality control testing of each batch using advanced equipment such as gas chromatographs and dose calibrators
  • Work in ISO 7 cleanrooms to prepare product vials and customer vials for use in drug production
  • Perform environmental and personnel monitoring in various environments
  • Coordinate daily production run schedules based on customer and pharmacy needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for education in sciences (chemistry, biology, etc.)
  • Lab experience is highly preferred, with a focus on manufacturing and regulated industries
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and be flexible with scheduling
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 60 pounds
