OSF HealthCare is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work under the direction of a radiologist to perform radiographic procedures with a high level of technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic procedures with precision and accuracy, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Collect medical history from patients and provide clear explanations of the imaging procedure.
  • Operate imaging equipment with proficiency and maintain a thorough understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Collaborate with providers to determine the need for additional images and confer on results.
  • Work with special populations, including children, the elderly, and patients with debilitating conditions, to ensure safe and comfortable imaging experiences.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a formal Radiography program with associated certificate or degree.
  • Licensed with IEMA ARRT (R) registry eligible.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Experience with routine diagnostic procedures in General Radiology and customer service/patient experience settings is preferred.
