Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the rendering process and operations in our 3rd Shift department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership and a proven track record of achieving production and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of rendering employees to ensure the production of high-quality products in accordance with company standards.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Utilize strong communication and coaching skills to resolve employee issues and improve morale.
  • Manage production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and improve production quality and quantity through process control tools and problem-solving techniques.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to ensure facility efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of the department.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a rendering department or similar environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of USDA and HACCP procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with a commitment to safety and quality.
