ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a seasonal Kitchen Supervisor to become a vital part of our Beach Club Food & Beverage team. The Kitchen Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Beach Club Snack Bar and Beachside Grill, with potential additional responsibilities in Food & Beverage as required by business needs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Kitchen Supervisor will be tasked with completing all assignments delegated by the Executive Chef and/or Beach Club Chef Manager, which may include:
- Assisting in the recruitment and training of kitchen staff on new menu offerings, descriptions, and operational procedures.
- Leading daily pre-shift meetings to address staff inquiries and ensure clarity.
- Managing daily procurement in line with inventory levels, ensuring accurate invoice coding and adherence to budget constraints.
- Collaborating with the Beach Club Chef Manager to supervise the receiving process.
- Upholding sanitation standards within the Culinary Department, conducting regular audits in accordance with established protocols.
- Creating and updating materials to enhance the Beach Food service experience for future seasons.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Significant experience in a Sous Chef role.
- A valid Food Handlers/Sanitation certification.
- A keen attention to detail, with the capability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Commitment to adhering to all club guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with team members, management, and club members.
- The ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Physical stamina to work on their feet for extended periods and lift/move items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
PAY RANGE
$24.00-$26.00 hourly compensation, based on experience.
