Position Overview:

This role is a senior-level position that offers technical, financial, and auditing support to the Agency for Health Care Administration's (AHCA) leadership and program personnel. The focus is on the planning, development, and execution of policies, procedures, and programs related to the fiscal obligations of federal, state, and local governments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assistance in the maintenance and collection of accounts receivable and overdue payments.
  • Conduct daily postings for all accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Initiate collection actions, including communication with providers and documentation for legal referrals on overdue accounts.
  • Monitor and review accounts receivable cases, ensuring compliance with repayment schedules.
  • Assist Agency staff and auditors with inquiries related to Medicaid accounts and overdue invoices.
  • Research and prepare deposits, maintaining organized and accurate accounting ledgers.
  • Facilitate communication with Agency staff and facility representatives to negotiate payment plans and settlement agreements.
  • Record and report on various revenue types, collaborating with provider representatives and state departmental staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
