About the Role

Covenant Health is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Women's Services unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a culture of excellence and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care within the Labor and Delivery unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care, involving patients and families in the decision-making process.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and evaluation of unit orientation programs.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Tennessee State RN licensure and CPR certification required.
  • IBCLC certification preferred.
