Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services.
- Clinical Operations: Oversee the implementation of clinical programs and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Sunrise Senior Living's policies and procedures.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and services, and drive continuous improvement in clinical operations.
- Staff Development: Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years RN experience; at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Certifications: Certified in CPR and First Aid.
- Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods in accordance with federal, state/province and board of nursing requirements.
