Position Summary:

Sally Beauty Holdings is looking for a seasoned IT Project Manager to oversee and direct essential IT initiatives that align with our organizational objectives. The IT Project Manager will be accountable for the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the planning and execution of IT projects, encompassing software development, infrastructure enhancements, and system integrations.
  • Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Create comprehensive project plans, detailing timelines, resource allocation, and budget oversight.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for seamless project execution.
  • Track and report on project progress, proactively addressing any challenges to meet project milestones.
  • Manage modifications to project scope, timelines, and costs using appropriate verification methods.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, ideally within a retail or e-commerce context.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale IT projects, including software development, cloud solutions, and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong grasp of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with a talent for managing cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
