We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at UCHealth. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care in the operating room, PACU, and other perioperative settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, prioritizing wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes and model proficiency through precepting new staff members.
- Contribute to a safe and quality-focused environment, adhering to AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certification standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- Minimum 6 months of OR nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- Preferred: BSN, 2 years hospital OR experience, and CNOR certification.
