We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the OR.
About the Role:- Assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Circulate and/or scrub on all cases.
- Primarily work with Gen, Ortho (trauma), Neuro, Spine, Eyes, ENT, GU, Robotics (DaVinci XI/SI), Vascular, Endovascular, Cardiac, Trauma OB/GYN.
- Give breaks and/or provide additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations.
- Assist with room turnover and restocking for next day's cases.
- Act as an advocate for patients before, during, and after surgery.
- One year of experience in the Operating Room required.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
- A competitive hourly rate of $33.15-$57.93.
