Job Summary

Avante at Leesburg, Inc. is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the assessment, treatment, and program planning for residents
  • Conduct individual and group treatment sessions as assigned by the Occupational Therapist
  • Document results of resident's assessment, treatment, follow-up, and termination of services
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement programs
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and other team members
Requirements
  • Ability to carry out treatment plans as designed by supervising therapist
  • Ability to document daily care as per established guidelines
  • Ability to effectively communicate response to treatment intervention to residents, family, and other team members
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care to our residents.
