Essential Qualifications:

  • Responsible for the installation, enhancement, and management of Mainframe CICS/MQ solutions;
  • Expertise in deploying, upgrading, and supporting IBM CICS/MQ along with associated third-party applications such as Abend-Aid for CICS, File-Aid for CICS, DADS Plus, CICS VR, and ISAM;
  • Conduct monitoring of CICS environments, including CICS Region Build and MQ QMGR, utilizing tools like Mainview, Omegamon, and SYSVIEW;
  • Implement modifications in compliance with corporate policies and security protocols;
  • Support testing, deployment, and installation of new or enhanced systems, including product upgrades;
  • Engage in regular meetings and collaborate with management, teams, and clients to enhance service delivery;
  • Participate in the On-Call rotation schedule.
  • Proficient in administration tasks utilizing various CICS/MQ commands;
  • Possess Level 3 System Programming skills in CICS;
  • Demonstrate proficiency in JCL, ISPF, and SMP/E;
  • Exhibit z/OS system-level expertise;
  • Familiarity with database security standard procedures.
