Job Summary

A Machine Operator at Flowserve will be responsible for maintaining and operating a variety of machines and equipment to carry out routine tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions and work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain machines and equipment
  • Use hand tools for tasks
  • Move materials and parts to and from work areas via power lift trucks and forklifts
  • Ensure a smooth flow of production
  • Solve production and technological problems
  • Follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Adhere to all Safety Procedures & Policy
Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED and / or 0-2 years relevant experience
  • Ability to read and follow route sheets/Blueprints
  • Self-motivated
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Able to stand for long periods, repetitive arm motions, frequent lifting with ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Basic computer skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or related environment
  • Experience in machining or similar field
  • Experience using and interpreting precision measuring instruments
  • High level of organization skills
  • Forklift certification
