Prion Manufacturing is a high-volume producer of machined components known as Automatic Screw Machine Products. Serving a wide variety of industries, we custom manufacture products that are typically of our customer's design. We have been in business since 1955. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Screw Machine Operators.

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled set-up machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating automated machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate automated machines according to specifications, making necessary adjustments as needed
• Monitor machine performance, conduct routine quality checks, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal functionality
• Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Set-up
• Passion for mechanics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is a plus
• Must be able to work standing for up to eight (8) hours per day
• Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly

Full time- Monday thru Friday- day shift
