KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Nursing Excellence

  • Conduct interviews and facilitate onboarding for new personnel
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership on various initiatives
  • Address patient care challenges and resolve conflicts
  • Implement nursing protocols and projects
  • Provide essential supplies and tools for nursing activities

Team Collaboration

  • Unify team members and close operational gaps
  • Maintain high standards of nursing excellence
  • Incorporate feedback from veterinary doctors
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements

Nurse Development and Training

  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning within the team
  • Support the professional growth of team members
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and regular check-ins
  • Drive performance improvement initiatives and development plans
  • Organize training sessions and internship opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing or technician experience
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology
  • Licensed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT)
  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician Specialist is advantageous
  • CVPM certification is also a plus
