Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Software Galaxy Systems, LLC (SGS). As a key member of our contingent workforce, you will be responsible for reviewing equipment and systems to determine optimal maintenance strategies, ensuring equipment integrity and improving overall system reliability.

Your expertise in reliability engineering and equipment maintenance will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective maintenance plans, procedures, and protocols to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime.

In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their specific needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with your ability to communicate complex technical information effectively, will be essential in driving business results and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and procedures to ensure equipment integrity and improve system reliability
  • Conduct equipment reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Analyze and resolve equipment failures and downtime issues
  • Develop and maintain equipment replacement schedules based on life expectancy, operational history, criticality, and age
  • Write, review, and approve user requirement specifications, functional specifications, design specifications, operation and maintenance manuals, and standard operating procedures
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering or a related field
  • Pharma cGMP experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
