Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist II is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in complex, multiple problem-patient care situations. With a strong foundation in respiratory care, this role requires the ability to think critically and make independent decisions in fast-paced critical care environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication and implement respiratory care plans based on expanded knowledge and experience
  • Deliver patient care in critical care areas, including protocol ventilator management and independent decision-making
  • Provide patient, family, and support system education, as well as coordinate activities and staff development
  • Participate in the education of new employees and others
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program
  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification
  • At least 0-2 years of clinical experience, with a minimum of 6 months in critical care
