Position Overview

The primary responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly upon their arrival at the facility.
  • Provide care and support to patients and colleagues in alignment with Patient Plus Urgent Care's core values.
  • Facilitate patient registration and check-in processes efficiently.
  • Confirm insurance details and ensure accurate payment collection.
  • Manage and balance cash registers and financial transactions.
  • Reconcile daily financial records according to established protocols.
  • Handle incoming calls, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist new patients with necessary documentation and keep them informed about their wait times.
  • Oversee patient flow, including escorting patients to examination rooms as required.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of front office materials and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide respectful and courteous service to all patients in every aspect of the role.
  • Monitor cleanliness and safety in the waiting area, restrooms, and children's play area.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
