Job Summary

Product Connections is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Event Specialist - Part Time to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for executing in-store food and non-food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies to ensure they are clean and secured in the designated area.
  • Communicate with store management regarding upcoming events and the execution of past events when the supervisor is absent.
  • Assist other event specialists with event kits, materials, and tools as needed.
  • Provide leadership and knowledge to the team, and assist the supervisor in achieving team goals.
  • Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of products represented.
  • Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to customers in a positive manner.
  • Assist with the preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
  • Complete expense reports as per company policy.
  • Prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
  • Take digital photos of perfect table setups to document success stories for clients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient ability to use and navigate on a personal computer and personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
  • Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear, visual ability to read instructions and perform responsibilities, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies, and product.
Working Conditions

Retail store environment with limited travel.

Language Skills

English is the primary language skill; however, bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
