Backend Systems Developer at Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA)
The Artificial Perception Threat Awareness division at SARA is dedicated to innovating sensor perception technologies for both Commercial and Military sectors. We are seeking a skilled Backend Systems Developer to enhance our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend software solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience in developing distributed software systems
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and GIT
- Experience with cloud-native architectures in AWS and/or Azure
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Must be a US Citizen
- Familiarity with IoT development and ISO 30141 is advantageous
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- 10+ years of experience in distributed software systems
- Knowledge of RTCA DO-178C and RTCA DO-254 standards
- Expertise in Matlab, LabVIEW, Julia, and VHDL
- Active DoD security clearance is preferred
