Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Behavioral Health, this role provides behavioral health services to a diverse patient population. The Behavioral Health Provider (BHP) will embody the mission of Southwest Montana Community Health Center. The BHP will understand behavioral health integration and practice the clinic's policy on confidentiality as it applies to all clinic information. They will exhibit professional behavior in all facets of work at Southwest Montana Community Health Center and demonstrate teamwork with all staff members.

Primary Care Behavioral Health Providers see a high volume of patients throughout the week. Appointments are typically half-hour long and scheduled as needed by the patient rather than on a regular, weekly basis.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree required
  • LCSW, LCPC, or candidate license required.
  • Previous experience working in a team setting or integrated behavioral health model is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
  • Current LCSW, LCPC, or candidate licensure in good standing.
  • Clinical supervision is provided.
