The Youth Fitness Coach will be tasked with delivering physical education, skill development training, and strength and conditioning programs for local educational institutions. As a GYMGUYZ youth fitness coach, you will provide expert instruction for each session while ensuring exceptional customer service. You must be capable of adjusting to various fitness levels and modifying class instruction to foster a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment. Additionally, adaptability to different work settings, both indoors and outdoors, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement comprehensive physical education, skill training, and strength conditioning programs.
• Deliver expert instruction in each session, maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Tailor instruction to suit varying fitness levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
• Prioritize student safety while providing ongoing encouragement and support.
• Track and monitor student progress in alignment with educational curriculum and standards.
• Participate in regular one-on-one meetings.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth sports is preferred.
• Certification in personal training or group instruction from a recognized organization (e.g., ISSA, NASM, ACE, ACSM) is preferred.
• CPR/AED certification is required.
• Knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and nutrition is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to various locations and work flexible hours.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
