Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to join our finance team at an Automotive Company. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes, maintaining accuracy, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of wage and hour laws, tax laws, and other relevant regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Utilize HRIS and Paylocity for effective payroll management and record keeping.
  • Resolve any payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries regarding payroll.
  • Prepare reports on payroll information for management review.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to manage employee data and records.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in the finance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of wage and hour laws, tax laws, and other relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Paylocity.
  • Experience in the automotive dealership industry is highly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex payroll information in a clear and understandable manner.
About the Role

This role offers a competitive salary of $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience, along with full benefits, including medical, vision, and dental coverage.
