Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Visiting Nurse. As a key member of our home care team, you will provide direct patient care, education, and management of therapy services to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and education to patients in their homes.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patients' functional abilities and independence.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper use of equipment and techniques to promote optimal recovery.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Georgia.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Previous experience in home care or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
