Art Director Job Description

Clutch Creative is a rapidly growing staffing agency seeking an experienced Art Director to join our team. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for developing and executing visual strategies that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute websites, interactive assets, and traditional design that align with our clients' brand identities.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to concept and ideate visual styles that meet our clients' needs.
  • Maintain quality throughout the design process, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Follow brand guidelines and identity to ensure consistency across all marketing assets.
  • Accept feedback and suggestions from creative leads and incorporate them into the design process.
  • Execute the design of marketing assets as specified by briefs under the direction of leadership, account team, and clients.
  • Brainstorm, ideate, and strategize with the team to develop creative direction that drives business results.
  • Create visual prototypes (sketches, storyboards) to illustrate creative concepts for review.
  • Understand audience and communicate work with business leaders to ensure alignment.
  • Cross-collaborate with the creative team and leadership to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in web and interactive design working with a single brand, in-house.
  • Bachelor's degree in design or similar with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (transcripts are required for confirmation).
  • Strong experience in visual design, websites, interactive design, traditional design, photography, and videography.
  • Portfolio with a variety of design projects across different media required.
  • Experience with motion graphics or animation preferred.
  • Previous experience leading a team of Designers.
