AI Public Safety Product Software Developer

RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Java Developer to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension or full-time employment.

About the RoleThis role requires expertise in building AI-driven applications using vector databases, AI services, and ETL data pipelines, as well as modern frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring AI.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, analytics-driven, and visualization-focused applications that empower decision-makers with actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven applications and services using Java.
- Implement and manage vector databases to support AI models and data retrieval.
- Develop search capabilities and data orchestration using vector databases.
- Develop and optimize ETL data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and integration.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI models into production environments.
- Cross-functional teams collaboration to understand and implement complex product requirements.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of AI services and applications.
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Java (or Python) development, with a focus on AI and data engineering projects.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as vector databases like Azure AI Service, Elasticsearch, and Neo4J.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Expertise in testing automation, including unit and integration testing.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud providers like Microsoft Azure or AWS.
RIT Solutions, Inc. offers competitive compensation packages, including salary range $90,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
