Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform technical nursing functions, applying professional skills to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Document and maintain accurate records of patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Apply basic teaching and learning concepts to patient education, promoting health and wellness.
- Provide life support and act as a patient advocate, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to devise individualized care plans and ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous quality improvement of our healthcare services.
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Louisiana, with CPR certification required.
- ACLS and PALS certification preferred, with one year of RN experience preferred.
- Ability to operate complex medical equipment, demonstrate clinical competence, and maintain current knowledge in caring for adolescent through geriatric patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
