Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Matrix Providers. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient preparation for examination and minor office procedures.
  • Perform selected patient and laboratory testing, including electrocardiography, pulmonary function tests, and vision acuity testing.
  • Under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider, perform phlebotomy, pulmonary function tests, ankle brachial index, and electrocardiograms.
  • Provide escorting and chaperoning services for patients as needed.
  • Support the clinical care team in maintaining optimal best practices.
  • Provide clerical support and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy program.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited training course, as required by state regulations.
