Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and leading a team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Mentor and coach less experienced nurses to enhance their clinical and leadership skills.
- Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Address resident and family concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Represent the nursing unit's interests in meetings with upper-level management.
- Current State RN License.
- At least 3 years of experience in long-term care, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
