Medical Recovery Coordinator

TotalMed is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to fill a full-time position in our Step Down Unit. In this role, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to patients transitioning from critical care units. With a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction, we strive to deliver outstanding results in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a Step Down Unit setting, with a solid understanding of complex medical needs and treatment protocols. You will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and treating patients, while collaborating with our team to develop comprehensive care plans.
Key Responsibilities">
- Assess and monitor patients' medical conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement effective care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes.
