The St. Patrick Catholic Church seeks a highly skilled and experienced leader to drive the growth and success of its National Shrine of Mary Mother of Church.
This leadership position will oversee the overall management and development of the Mothers' Shrine, ensuring it has the necessary resources, infrastructure, and programs to fulfill its mission for future generations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the growth of the Shrine into a world-class pilgrimage site, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies, cultivating relationships with major donors across the United States and globally.
- Manage and motivate a team of staff and volunteers, promoting a culture of collaboration and shared purpose.
- Oversee the organization's infrastructure, including events, finances, technology, programs, grounds maintenance, and human resources.
- Promote an engaged and active board of directors, ensuring their involvement and support.
- Prepare and supervise the annual budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
Requirements:
- Be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church and its teaching, with a special devotion to Mary.
- Have previous experience leading a Catholic nonprofit organization or related entity, with a strong track record of donor funding and management.
- Be a strategic leader with vision, possessing multidisciplinary project skills to drive the development of the Mothers' Shrine.
- Exhibit excellent written, oral, and public speaking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively.
- Be able to maintain and initiate relationships at the parish, diocesan, local, national, and international level.
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred in business or a related field.
