Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in surpassing sales and operational targets, ensuring an outstanding customer journey through the La-Z-Boy sales methodology, and promoting our in-home design services. A deep understanding of our product offerings is essential, as the position emphasizes maximizing promotional activities and collaborating with various support teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceed store and individual sales objectives, along with annual operational benchmarks.
  • Implement the La-Z-Boy sales process consistently, aiming to deliver a superior experience to every customer.
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of product features and benefits, both existing and new.
  • Address customer inquiries effectively and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Advocate for the in-home design program.
  • Enhance store promotions, marketing campaigns, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Work closely with support teams to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the execution of established systems and administrative procedures.

Impact of the Role:
This position significantly influences the financial performance, operational effectiveness, and overall customer satisfaction of the store, reporting directly to the Store Manager while indirectly impacting the sales team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication abilities, and customer service expertise.
  • Other: Flexibility to work hours as dictated by business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in various technology tools and software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication capabilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of repetitive hand motions, along with listening and hearing.
  • Regularly required to sit, walk, bend, and stoop.
  • Work primarily in an indoor environment.
  • Must pass background and drug screening.
