Qualifications & Responsibilities for the Nursing Supervisor:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Previous experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Supervise nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring proper medication distribution, blood draws, and overall patient care.
- Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
- Provide education to staff, residents, and their families as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines in all staff duties.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) candidates may also be considered.
