Job Title: Facility Supervisor

Elizabeth River Crossings, OpCo LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities for the maintenance, repairing, and updating of facility equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities for the maintenance, repairing, and updating of facility equipment, including power distribution, fire life safety systems, HVAC, and water and associated equipment.
  • Ensure facility maintenance functions and duties are accurately and promptly completed, and smooth workflow is established by effective scheduling and distribution of work.
  • Plan and develop work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of repair expenditures, and procedures for equipment and assets related to building, roadway lighting, and tunnel maintenance.
  • Inspect and document facility equipment to determine maintenance needs, and study blueprints and schematics to plan material and labor requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, policies, and procedures, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) catalog.
  • Requisition and/or purchase supplies, materials, and tools, and maintain time, payroll, work orders, material, equipment, and other facility shop records.
  • Coordinate with other supervisors to ensure effective communication and coordination with Company personnel and management.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate with four-year or 2-year federally approved technical training program in electrical repair and maintenance, or equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
  • Journeyman electrician license or ability to take and pass the Virginia State Journeymen test within 90 days of employment.
  • Knowledge of wiring, circuitry, installation, and maintenance, as well as test equipment and electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to train and supervise others, and proficiency in spreadsheets, word documents, emails, and other related computer skills.
Working Conditions:

The Facility Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to electrical and mechanical equipment, and may be required to work in confined spaces or at heights. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods is required.
