Job Title: Intravenous Therapy Nurse Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide intravenous therapy services to patients in a Cancer Center setting. As an Intravenous Therapy Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for administering intravenous medicine, vitamins, or fluids, as well as inserting peripheral IVs, midline catheters, and other types of lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer intravenous medicines, vitamins, or fluids to patients
  • Insert peripheral IVs, midline catheters, and other types of lines
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during treatments and adjust medication as needed
  • Other responsibilities as required

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted California RN license
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience administering drugs such as IVIG, Inflectra, Rituxin, and blood products
  • Experience with IV pumps
  • Previous experience or certification in Bio Chemo preferred, but not required
