As a skilled Registered Nurse with AHMC Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading the nursing team in developing and implementing effective care plans. This position requires a strong understanding of patient health problems and resources, as well as the ability to provide technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides local wound care as ordered and applies dressings as needed.
Documents nursing interventions using the FOCUS charting format and demonstrates knowledge of procedures and post-care.
Follows established protocols for patients at high risk for suicide or unpredictable behavior, as well as those at risk for falls and skin breakdown.
Effectively prioritizes clinical interventions and care, communicating significant changes in patient condition/status in a timely manner.
Administers medication, intravenous therapy, and fluid management only on physician request and guidance, adhering to medication policies, practices, and standards.
Requirements:
Graduate of a RN School of Nursing with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish/Vietnamese/Chinese) preferred, with computer skills and current California RN License, BLS Card, and ACLS Card.
NIH Certification to be completed within 90 days of hire.
