IT Infrastructure Specialist

Salary: $55,000 to $90,000

Key Responsibilities:

The Network and System Administrator plays a crucial role in our team, responsible for delivering reactive technical support in an escalation capacity, as well as addressing proactive client requests and project support. This role involves:

• Continuous improvement of processes and standards to ensure a consistent client experience.
• Effective communication with clients and colleagues at both technical and non-technical levels, whether remotely or onsite.
• Self-direction, innovation, organization, and flexibility while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Building and nurturing customer relationships with a sense of urgency in delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma is required; a higher-level degree and/or certifications are preferred.

Experience Requirements:

IT Experience: 4 years required; 5 years preferred
MSP Experience: 1 year required; 2 years preferred

Essential Skills and Responsibilities:

• Ownership of assigned tasks and coordination of service through our PSA system.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn quickly.
• Ability to develop relationships with clients and internal staff.
• Process adherence and identification of potential improvements.
• Strong time management skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Server and PC products, including:
  • Windows Server
  • Azure/O365 (Heavily Preferred)
  • SharePoint
  • Active Directory
  • Advanced administration of O365 platform
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as:
  • VMware
  • Hyper-V
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and installing firewalls, routers, and switches, including:
  • Watchguard, Sonicwall, or Fortigate
  • Ubiquiti, HP, Cisco
• Strong understanding of networking principles.
• Ability to create network diagrams and internal documentation.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills in hardware, networking, and PC operating systems.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

• Experience with documentation platforms.
• Familiarity with ConnectWise Manage.
• Knowledge of N-Able RMM.
