At LHH Recruitment Solutions, we are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our finance team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is perfect for a skilled professional with strong analytical skills and attention to detail who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of $40-50 per hour, commensurate with experience, as well as excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.

Job Description:
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and monitor the cost of production and provide accurate cost reports to management.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual cost accounting activities, including inventory analysis and reconciliation.
  • Assist with preparing and analyzing budgets and forecasts, ensuring cost efficiency and financial goals are met.
  • Work closely with operations and production teams to gather data on materials, labor, and overhead costs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cost accounting or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, manufacturing processes, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
