Position: Deburring Operator

The Deburring Operator plays a vital role in the manufacturing process by meticulously eliminating burrs, sharp edges, and other surface imperfections from machined metal components. This position demands a high level of attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols while utilizing various tools and equipment. The operator's efforts are essential in maintaining the quality and performance of our produced parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of parts to identify burrs, sharp edges, or other defects as outlined in work instructions.
• Utilize the correct tools and equipment tailored to the materials, dimensions, and types of imperfections present on the components.
• Set up and dismantle equipment in accordance with safety standards and operational guidelines.
• Execute assigned tasks based on technical drawings and work orders.
• Keep precise records of deburring activities, including part identifiers, quantities, methods employed, and any challenges faced.
• Collaborate with supervisors, quality assurance teams, and fellow employees to resolve workflow challenges and ensure timely task completion.
• Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.

Position Details:

• Category: Non-exempt employee, full-time
• Shift: First shift (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Due to ITAR regulations, only American Citizens are eligible for this position.
• Vision must be at least 20/20, with corrective lenses if necessary.
• Ability to remain seated for extended durations and operate machinery using hands and arms.
• Must successfully pass a 5-panel drug screening, including marijuana.
• Strong attention to detail is essential, along with the capability to focus amidst distractions.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols when operating machinery, handling sharp tools, and working with metal components to prevent accidents or injuries.
