About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Portfolio Analyst to join our team at Stifel. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for managing single and multi-sector investment portfolios for high net-worth individuals and their entities, institutions, endowments, municipalities, and not-for-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a process/system to document published research from leading credit rating agencies and sell-side firms.
  • Summarize research on individual credits, sectors, or macro trends relevant to our investment strategies.
  • Assist in managing investment portfolios, utilizing appropriate securities and vehicles per each client's investment policy and preferences.
  • Work closely with other professionals throughout the firm to bring specific expertise to bear on client matters.
  • Manage client relationships, building rapport and satisfying client needs.
  • Respond to client requests for data, information, and calls; some client and internal presentations are expected.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, the economy, and investment products.
  • Specific experience in fixed-income markets and knowledge of various fixed-income investment vehicles.
  • Strong analytical skills, service-oriented, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and a desire for personal growth.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience in the financial industry, fixed income, asset management, or related field.

Systems and Technology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience with Bloomberg, BondWorks, TradeWeb, Market Axes, Vestmark, Perform PFCII, and APL.
