Key Responsibilities:

  • Central Supply Management: Ensure established par levels are maintained to meet the needs of residents and the facility. Keep the Central Supply and loading dock organized and clean. Rotate inventory to minimize waste and conduct physical inventory checks regularly.
  • Nursing Supplies and Equipment: Maintain par levels in nursing unit supply areas and deliver emergency supplies as needed.
  • General Supplies and Equipment: Distribute supplies and equipment to non-nursing departments as required.
  • Receiving Duties: Handle incoming shipments by signing for, unpacking, verifying, and matching receipts to vendor invoices. Report discrepancies and damages, and enter received goods into the inventory system.
  • Shipping Duties: Prepare items for shipment according to specifications, select cost-effective shipping methods, and maintain logs of shipped items.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, support emergency procedures, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned, which may include grounds maintenance and driving company vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
