Job Summary:The RN Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing unit, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care and that our staff is adequately trained and supported. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring that they are adequately trained and supported to provide high-quality patient care.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and patient care planning.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our nursing unit is running efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Three or more years' experience in nursing practice required.
- Two or more years' experience in behavioral health preferred.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
