Position Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Wound Care provides exceptional, safe, and cost-efficient nursing services to all patients within the inpatient setting. The RN is accountable for the comprehensive coordination and integration of patient care, utilizing the nursing process as a framework. This role involves directing care in accordance with established safety standards, risk management protocols, and infection control measures, ensuring that patients are discharged with the highest level of care.
Key Qualifications
Educational Background
Required: Graduate from an accredited Nursing School
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Wound Care Nurse Certification
Professional Experience
Preferred: Previous clinical experience in wound care or related fields
Licensure and Certifications
Required: Current RN licensure as mandated by state regulations, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
