As a Radiologic Technologist I at CHI Saint Joseph Health, you will play a vital role in capturing high-quality diagnostic images that enable our radiologists to accurately diagnose and treat patients. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a strong understanding of diagnostic imaging principles, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret clinical information from clinical team meetings to meet radiology needs of patients
- Apply thorough and accurate imaging techniques for patient positioning, ensuring compliance with orders
- Monitor radiation exposure time and activity with hyper-sensitivity, ensuring patient safety
- Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself
- Apply mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to prevent equipment failures
- Associate's degree preferred
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (R); must maintain current
- Certified by State of Texas - MRT; must maintain current
- American Heart Association BLS
