At Optum, we're dedicated to helping people live healthier lives and making the health system work better for everyone.

We're seeking a skilled RN Medical Oncology Clinic professional to join our team in the Tri-State region. As a key member of our care team, you'll provide professional nursing care to patients/significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, following established standards and practices.

You'll coordinate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and care. Your responsibilities will include assisting physician or other provider with clinical procedures, performing telephone triage as needed, and participating in patient teaching.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Registered Nurse licensed to practice in New York State (NYS) with current NYS registration and in good standing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) or higher
  • 2+ years of recent pertinent professional nursing experience in a hospital, medical office or other clinical setting
