About the Role

Woodward is committed to creating an inclusive and rewarding work environment for all employees. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Perform low to moderately complex assembly and test, including preset calibration and final testing.
  • Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per proper work instructions.
  • Follow work instructions associated with assembly skills to become certified for work being performed.
  • Perform test stand preset calibration and final test of product.
  • Notice inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facility.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • No related work experience required, but mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • The ability to see details clearly to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • The ability to perform simple arithmetic computations correctly.
  • The ability to process multiple types of information and/or perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity.
